We launched our information boards project with three Heritage themed boards: one near Skylark, one near the Three-Island pond and one on Northside. A fourth on the Scope will be ready later in the year. A collaboration with Enable, with the original idea going back over a decade. You can read more about the project HERE
Elsewhere, the Wandsworth Heritage Festival opened including three contributions from FoWC: a talk & film and a also a tour of the listed Fitzhugh Estate complex on the edge of the Common and another showing of our film Common Memories. Both of these can be watched in the video section of our website.
Finally, Roy Vickery returned to the Prison Banks for another of his wonderful wildflower talks. The area is a hotspot for flowers and butterflies and shouldn’t be missed.
